For those of you/us in SC, NC, GA, and TN.... It's almost time to go shopping!! Thanks to Fieroshus for the heads up... August 4-6th are tax free for all 4 states, for anything that smacks of being school related. I suspect specific items vary from state to state, so you might want to check local info.
Oh, and how cool is this?? SC is having a second tax-free bash... for CHRISTMAS!!
While the August tax-free shopping weekend is limited to specific items, this year South Carolina legislators are giving shoppers an additional one-time, two-day sales tax break that will include ALL purchases. South Carolina will hold a second tax-suspension on Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, the weekend after Thanksgiving. Per the SC DOR, more info will be out later on that... but hey.... pretty cool, IF you want to join the Black Friday madness.
